On the occasion of a very special anniversary, we would like to cordially invite you to guided tours of one of Germany's most important cultural monuments:

the Bayreuth Festival Festspielhaus, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year.

Designed by Richard Wagner himself, the Festspielhaus is much more than an opera house – it is the landmark of Bayreuth and a globally unique place in music and architectural history. Its exceptional acoustics, special construction and close connection to the Bayreuth Festival make it a place that everyone should experience live and in colour at least once.

During the tour, you will gain exciting insights into:

• the history and architecture of the Festspielhaus

• Richard Wagner's vision and its implementation

• the auditorium, the famous concealed orchestra pit and other special areas
