Important Dates

The poet Jean Paul lived and worked in Bayreuth for around 20 years. Various stages of the Jean Paul Trail bring the life and work of Jean Paul, the successful writer of the early 19th century, back to life. There are various sections of the trail to choose from, from Rollwenzelei to the museum, through the city center, out to the old town, etc., all within walking distance. Each section focuses on different themes from Jean Paul's works.
